Beverly Young Nelson, the woman of accusing Roy Moore of sexual misconduct, admitted Friday that she wrote some notes in her high school yearbook while still suggesting that Moore’s signature is authentic.
According to reports from Fox News, Nelson says she added the date and location of when and where Moore signed her yearbook. Nelson’s notes say “12-22-77” and “Olde Hickory House,” which is the restaurant where Nelson worked where she says Roy Moore was a frequent customer at the time.
At Nelson’s original news conference on Nov. 13, she said the GOP Senate candidate signed her yearbook but she did not mention the notes she added. However, in a news conference on Friday, her lawyer, Gloria Allred, said there will be evidence that the signature is Moore’s.
Roy Moore contends that the passage in Nelson’s yearbook is a forgery.
